reply from Anon576: Your lists of what to do are good-- but -- I would like to add one more-- that is -- do not only read and get informed-- combine it with actual work of passing on what you have learned and but it in writing and get it out to the regulators, politicians and the citizens via email and postal - nerdy citizens unite! You do some of that in figuring out how to cope with the onslaught but the next step is also how to fight these industrial monsters who want to gobble up the planet.
