Paul Craig Roberts (Wikipedia link) was known as a co-founder of Reaganomics, which I understand to mean Milton Friedman's disastrous Chicago School of Economics, a/k/a free market economics. It seems that Paul Craig Roberts is sorry about that now.
These next two are amazing articles, covering major figures and their influences over a period of time that are, says Paul Craig Roberts, leading inevitably to nuclear war unless Europe follows its own interests and supports Russia against a further U.S. invasion of the Ukraine. I remember from years of news much of what he talks about here, and it all makes sense.

"Militarization of policing encourages officers to adopt a 'warrior' mentality and think of the people they are supposed to serve as enemies." "Bright Spot in the American Miasma," by Norman Pollack, CounterPunch, June 24, 2014. Along with Mennonites and Quakers, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has decided to disinvest from three companies that have been part of Israel's doing of evil things to Palestinians. The target companies are: Caterpillar (bulldozers to level Palestinian homes and crush resistance), Hewlett-Packard and Motorola (surveillance equipment and technology).
