I received the bottom paragraph below--the one in quotes--from a friend. The EcoWatch.com site is new to me and seems good. The above-linked article is seriously worthwhile if you are involved with party politics and can help others to work hard on showing just how un-American these rich, selfish, and short-term thinking ("short-sighted") House Republicans really are--with all due respect, of course, for their very different point of view. Clearly they live in a different reality.
My idea is to slow down the destruction. That my own personal focus is mainly on my own extended family's descendents being able to have lives doesn't hurt anything I think. It's ok with me if your focus is on your family's descendents.
