New documents released by The Guardian and The New York Times today September 6, 2013 show that "US and British intelligence agencies have successfully cracked much of the online encryption relied upon by hundreds of millions of people to protect the privacy of their personal data, online transactions and emails."

This is a response from security technologist (big geek) Bruce Schneier (Wikipedia link) that was also published in The Guardian today. It has his best suggestions for us:
