television, radio, and Internet.
Much of the article is about the ongoing fight, by the Cowboys and Indians among other people who are involved, leaving out those of us who feel involved but who don't live right around there, against the Keystone XL pipeline. She mentions the words of the famous scientist James Hansen, former director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, "If Canada proceeds, and we do nothing, it will be game over for the climate." She reminds us that Hansen is one of more than 1,200 people who were arrested in front of the White House, protesting Keystone XL. The Republicans have said they are going to reintroduce in January the bill that we just helped defeat in the Senate a few days ago, once the Republican takeover is in effect.
Amy Goodman is right about one thing. The weather sure has been a bit cold outdoors around here lately. We have not had nearly as much snow here as fell in some other places.
