This new Rolling Stone article published February 12th this
year, "The
Pentagon & Climate Change: How Deniers Put National Security
at Risk," seems to have hit hard, given things a big shove,
one might say. I saw it on the front cover at the grocery store
today. It even has pictures. Think "moving
military bases--huge ones and smaller--to other places because of
rising sea levels, melting of permafrost, and and worsening
weather." It begins about Norfolk, Virginia and then goes to other
places and bases all over the world.
The article has "hit hard" particularly in the sense that the 170 global warming/wilder weather "denialists" in Congress, the best known one being Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe,* are under increased pressure to get themselves out of the way of things of things that need doing yesterday, or, actually, 20 or more years ago or at any time since or at any time there remains any human civilization on earth, [i]however[/i] the earth might have gotten here.
There is a list of 170 of those U.S. Congress people who are seriously in the way. Tina Casey has reported at Clean Technica: "...That figure of 170 doesn’t include legislators who refrain from making ridiculous statements about climate change in public, but who nevertheless actively work against policies that will help reduce emissions." According to this other one at Clean Technica, a significant one of those others is Rep. Eric Koch from Indiana, Chairman of House Utilities and Energy Committee.

And then Google (through startpage) turned this next one up second from the top after the Rolling Stone article itself. You know what that means, right? It means that many people are reading this besides just people in Jerusalem, in Washington, in U.S. military installations, and among those relative few American/Jewish Zionist business people, military and oil business people, most of them, who represent the AIPAC lobby. The AIPAC lobby is a big segment of the Israel Lobby, which also includes the American Christian Zionist sects along with officials from the government of Israel:
