Iran is the only signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty that has never violated that treaty. I have pointed that out before. Now I see for the first time that the United States has been supplying Israel with major "conventional" weapons continuously and increasingly since 1967 in the hope of keeping Israel from being inspired to use its nuclear arsenal. We are in a trap that the Israel military has developed for us over a period of many years, lying through its teeth for most of those years. And by the way, Israel never signed that treaty, not having nuclear weapons supposedly.
You will see testimony of some serious people here, telling about stories with which I was not fully familiar. You might not be familiar with them either. We have heard for years that Israel has nuclear weapons about which no one is supposed to be speaking. This video gives more of the flavor of the combined U.S., Israeli, French, German, and South African military strategies for Israel's nuclear weapons. Included is a terrifically interesting tale about why the Israelis attacked the U.S.S. Liberty.
This all might be and probably is a big part of what gives The Israel Lobby such power in our U.S. government.
So as we learn more and more, let us see what we want to and can do about it in addition to talking with each other about it.
