On Monday December 5, 2016, the U.S. military is scheduled to stage
an attack upon the Sioux tribe at Standing Rock in North Dakota.
The excuse given is that these subhuman (American Indian) adults
need to be protected from the cold what with their being too stupid
to stay indoors.
I suppose they could use some protection against the private unlicensed militias that have been spraying them with water in the cold. The Sioux landowners' stand is nonviolent. However, that kind of protection does not seem to be the plan of the official U.S. military, although 2,000 or so U.S. military veterans have gone, or are going, to stand with the Indians on the side of justice from December 4th to December 7th.

Please. It is time for action. Because this particular evil, treating these indigenous people in particular as subhuman and worthless, is probably not something you want to see repeated from out of American history past.

I oppose the Dakota Access Pipeline and plans to evict water protectors and their supporters at Standing Rock.
At a minimum, the government should:
- Send observers to prevent the militarized, aggressive policing that has already injured hundreds of people;
- Investigate civil rights violations; and
- Negotiate with Governor Dalrymple and tribal leaders to reduce tensions.
