A friend sent me this. It affected me. Woodstock happened in
1969. I could not make it--I was a very busy senior draft counselor
that year--that was my job title--but I know and remember the spirit
of Woodstock. As you can see at the Woodstock Wikipedia

was the first female performer of the first night, Friday, August
15, 1969. I had never seen this beautiful and much newer video
until today. But boy do I remember hearing Melanie sing this song
that she wrote about Woodstock. Yes!
